"Prioro įrašų grupė" Ltd (trademarks "Prior Records", "Prior Video" and "Prior Entertainment") was founded in the middle of 2002 as a subdivision of music publishing and distribution of CD factory „BOD Group" Ltd.

In 2005 "Prioro įrašų grupė" Ltd expanded its activity and started to publish and distribute films and TV series in DVD format.

In 2007 a subdivision of our company was established in Latvia - "Prior Latvia" Ltd.

In 2008 we signed a contract with one of the world‘s largest film studios „Universal Pictures" and implemented a widely-known joint project in Baltic region with one of the biggest Lithuanian daily newspapers "Lietuvos Rytas". In this project the films which acquired global recognition were distributed together with a newspaper in exceptional conditions and prices. At this time we are an official distributor of Universal Pictures Blu-ray and DVD production in Baltic region.

In 2009 the company started to distribute PC games and later Sony Playstation video games.

In 2011 we established a general trademark to combine our activities - Prior Entertainment - and stepped into a competitive theatrical film distribution market in Baltic region. The first film distributed by Prior Entertainment in Baltic cinemas was a financial thriller called "Rizikos riba" (in English „Margin Call"), with such world-famous stars like Jeremy Irons, Kevin Spacey, Paul Bettany, Demi Moore and others.

Today „Prioro įrašų grupė" is one of the largest companies publishing and distributing audiovisual works in Baltic region. Over the years of its activity „Prioro įrašų grupė" is qualified as flexible and reliable company in market, which is able to solve the most difficult issues and tasks quickly and in a proper manner. Core team of the company - the highest level professionals who have many years of experience in their field and who are able to cope with the most difficult challenges and implement the most sophisticated ideas of the customers.

We are constantly developing. We have many ambitious plans and try to expand our activity gradually. The key priorities - promotion of Blu-ray format, development of theatrical film distribution, licensing of local and foreign music, management of concerts and events.
